Clubs and Organizations

Coffee House Talent Night is a showcase of student talent in the arts, including group and solo performances in music, theater, and poetry.  Acceptance into coffee house is by audition. The music department will announce the opening and closing of auditions through announcements at daily convocation and the weekly newsletter.

Community Corner provides opportunities to build community through student-led special activities and monthly connection boards. All students interested in growing a sense of belong amongst the student body are welcome to join.

Digital Marketing Club is comprised of students interested in learning the art of digital photography, video creation, and graphic design. Elements of this club can also be learned through independent and curriculum courses and put to good use through the marketing club.

Eco Freako Environmental Club serves as to educate and inspire the Holy Family community to be good stewards of God's creation through the promotion of recycling and earthly-friendly habits.

Fire for Life promotes respect from life from birth to grave. Every other year, the club takes a trip to the National March for Life in Washington, D.C.

Join the Fire coaching and strength staff for five weeks of intensive strength, speed, and explosiveness training. We will employ a variety of techniques that effectively promote athletic development while pushing each individual to improve their speed, strength, explosiveness, flexibility, and overall fitness. The strategies employed include, but are not limited to weight training, interval training, Pilates, and conditioning. 

Health Club focuses on encouraging healthy behaviors within our school community.

The Holy Family Catholic High School Honor Society is an organization that recognizes students for their exemplary academic and leadership standing at HFCHS and in the community.

As students at a Lasallian school, all Holy Family students are members of the Lasallian Youth Club.  Students are encouraged to attend meetings as they are available to help promote the Lasallian ideals of St. John Baptist de Lasalle. These meeting typically occur on Fridays after school. During meeting, students discuss and plan service opportunities and trips.

International Club meets once a month and is open to all students with an interest in global cultures. Our international students lead the activities which include dance lessons, cooking demonstrations, presentations, and conversations about cultural issues. 

Language Clubs allow students to expand their world language conversations skills in a more social, casual environment.

Liturgical Music is a co-curricular activities. Musicians and vocalists prepare music for the monthly school masses.

Student council organizes several student life events throughout the school year including the Homecoming Dance, blood drive, and food drive.

The Phoenix is an online newspaper created by and for the students at Holy Family Catholic High School. This paper covers a wide variety of school events and presents a student view on current events in the broader community. Student articles are frequently submitted to local newspapers for publication.

Students may take the course via independent study or through an assigned schedule course which meets regularly during G and H periods. The Phoenix also maintains social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram.

The creation of the Holy Family Yearbook takes place in the Publication Design course. Students are assigned pages, whenever possible, based on preference and knowledge of activity or event. Students use Jostens Online Yearbook Design Program to design the Holy Family yearbook spreads in class or from home. Creating these pages requires and/or develops skills in photography, writing, editing, visual design, and so much more. After a year of hard work, Publication Design students proudly distribute to the Fire student body the yearbook in June.
